Benefits of Healthy Energy Bites

Chia seeds

All ingredients that go into healthy energy bites are included for a reason. Rolled oats, the main ingredient to many of the recipes, can help to lower cholesterol, support healthy digestion and balance blood sugar levels. A small amount of chia seeds, another common ingredient, contains tons of protein, fiber, and vitamins. Plus, it’s a great antioxidant. Flaxseed is also an amazing antioxidant as well as high in fiber and supports healthy digestion. Dates are great for your heart and digestion. If you have a favorite healthy ingredient, add it to the recipe and see how it goes!
